Baptism

Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, Baptism is the first step of obedience in your commitment to Christ. It identifies you with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. Going under the water symbolizes that you are putting to death the life you lived before choosing Christ. It is also a reminder of what Jesus did for us when He died on the cross for our sins and was buried. When you come up out of the water it symbolizes your “re-birth” to live a new life as a forgiven child of God. It is also a reminder that Jesus conquered death by being raised from the dead. His resurrection shows His power and authority to forgive our sins and to fulfill the promises He made. Baptisms are held immediately following our in-person services inside Unleashed Christian Church. The water is heated and ready every weekend.
